How To Make This Tasseled Clutch In 3 Way Easy Steps

Photographed by Nick Bloise.
I've always loved tassels and fringe on everything. More than just a little. So, when the wavy trim made an appearance on the runways for fall 2014 — Emilio Pucci, Gucci, and Proenza Schouler being just a few — I took that as full license to go a little crazy.
Thus, this '70s-inspired, muppet-like bag came to be. For anyone afraid of DIY — it's truly the easiest, just-glue-it project, and the final result is a statement piece like nothing you already own. It can also double as a pillow for an impromptu nap on the subway (not totally advisable, but great bags make us do strange things). After our photo shoot, several coworkers couldn't resist the urge to hug, pet, and ruffle the tasseled pouch on their way by my desk. To make (and hug, pet, and ruffle) your own, read on for the three easy steps.
