This Gallery Gives Us The Most Tricked-Out Table Decor In NYC

That old ceramic bowl starting to feel a little blasé? Embrace a new view on table dressings by NYC-based artist Francesca DiMattio. The artist, whose work has appeared far and wide, zeros back in on her hometown for her third show at the Salon 94 Bowery.

The ceramic pieces in DiMattio's collection are unlike anything you've ever seen in Grandma's parlor. The exhibition,
Table Setting And Flower Arranging
, is a unique display that mixes 17th Century influence with an abstract twist, turing familiar kitchenware into a real conversation starter.

If table talk is not your cup of tea, the limited-time presentation also includes DiMattio's signature paintings — equally abstract as her vases, it captures a span of scenes, color schemes, and artistic influences. Intrigued? Up your art knowhow this weekend with a little NYC gallery grazing.

When: March 17 through April 21; Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Salon 94 Bowery, 243 Bowery (near Stanton Street); 212-979-0001.
