Exclusive First Look: Welcome Stranger’s New In-House Label And Fall Lookbook

One of our favorite new stores in San Francisco—and definitely one of the best men’s boutiques in town—Hayes Valley shop Welcome Stranger is now bolstering its reputation even more with an in-house collection that’s already starting to trickle into the shop. The debut fall 2011 collection, which will also be carried by Opening Ceremony in New York and Los Angeles, as well as the Ace Hotel, is filled with classic pieces like waxed cotton jackets lined in removable Navajo-style blankets, Italian wool and chambray button-ups with subtle details, rough-and-tumble varsity jackets, San Francisco-savvy quilted vests, and White Oak Cone Denim cut into two jean silhouettes—straight and tapered. The mostly under-$300 line, which is produced in San Francisco, also includes a few accessories, such as slim wool ties and totes made out of reclaimed military fabrics and pony hair. Want to see it all for yourself? Take an exclusive first look at the new brand’s lookbook shot by Michael O'Neal after the jump! And, after you get done clicking through, let us know what piece you fancy most in the comments below.
