Hands-down one of our favorite designers in town, Martha Davis’ sculptural footwear combines both fashion and function in a way we totally dig. Naturally, these two elements are essential to the former industrial designer-turned-shoe maven who logged in time in New York and Italy before moving into her adorable Hayes Valley studio. It’s in that space that Davis recently churned out her Fall 2011 collection, which she says was inspired by “early '70s lady-like décolleté and the punky hipster boots worn by rockstars such as Jagger.” What does that translate to sartorially?
