10-Minute Dinner Recipes That ANYONE Can Make

Not too long ago, I was browsing the web and came across an article that read, "Unwind after a long day with these recipes that will take just an hour." Just an hour? Are you kidding me? After a long day, I usually have the energy to devote, like, maybe 10 minutes to making dinner. Since that is clearly not going to happen, I usually succumb to delivery, or chow down some sad leftovers. But, wait, we can make three-minute breakfasts in a mug and three-minute desserts in a mug, so could a fast, easy, delicious dinner in a mug be a possibility? Could the universe be so kind?! The answer is YES, friends. Here are three, super fast dinners that you can throw together in almost no time at all.

Bacon Cheddar Cheese Burger in a Mug

This decadent stacked burger is delicious that you won’t miss the bun. Ingredients
1 1/2-lb hamburger patty
2 slices of bacon
2 slices of cheddar cheese
All your favorite burger toppings: Mayo, Mustard, Ketchup, Pickles, and Tomato Instructions
1. Nestle the burger patty inside a large mug. Microwave for 3 minutes or until the middle is cooked through. Drain any fat or liquid that has accumulated in the mug by slightly tipping the mug, being careful not to dump out the burger in the process!
2. Lay the cheese slices on top of the burger, followed by the bacon. Then top with your favorite condiments and veggies. Enjoy!

Chicken Pot Pie in a Mug
For centuries, people believed that it was impossible to make a chicken pot pie in the microwave. Jackie has proven them wrong. Ingredients
1 tsp butter
1 tsp all-purpose flour
1/4 cup milk, cream or half & half
1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
1/4 cup peas, defrosted if frozen
1/4 cup corn kernels, defrosted if frozen
1 tsp onion flakes
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
Onion flakes
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 small can crescent roll dough (approximately 4-oz), such as Pillsbury’s

1. Heat the butter in a large mug in the microwave until melted, about 20 seconds.
2. Whisk in the flour, using a fork, to make a paste. Then whisk in the milk or cream, followed by the broth. Mix in chicken, peas, corn, paprika, onion flakes, salt, and pepper.
3. Unroll the crescent rolls and lay two or three of them across the top of the mug to make a crust, leaving a small amount of space between them so that steam can vent.
4. Cook for 3 minutes or until the top is puffy and lightly browned, as shown.

Vegetarian Black Bean, Corn, & Cheese Enchiladas in Green Chili Sauce

These extra-cute mug enchiladas are served inside a beer mug to bring you some extra cheer after a long day.

2 6-inch corn tortillas
1/2 cup green (or red if you prefer) enchilada sauce (I used 505 Southwestern.)
1/4 cup canned black bean, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup corn kernels, defrosted if frozen (We used Trader Joe’s Roasted Corn.)
1/4 cup shredded Mexican Blend Cheese, plus 2 tbsp for garnish.
1 tbsp chopped cilantro
1 tbsp chopped or sliced avocado - optional
1. Heat the tortillas in the microwave for 15 seconds to soften them.
2. Lay the tortillas on a plate and spread both sides with enchilada sauce. Roll the tortillas and place them on end inside a beer mug, this will be a little messy.
3. Mix the corn, beans, cheese, and cilantro in a medium bowl, and spoon inside the rolled tortillas.
4. Place the extra two tablespoons of cheese into the open spaces left in the mug.
5. Microwave for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Garnish with avocado.
