Your Selfie Can Win You $$$

Like a bright stamp of color on the lip, eye makeup can have a transformative effect. Think of how different you look and feel when wearing a jewel-toned smoky eye, a sexy flick of black liner, or just-for-the-heck-of-it accents of gold. Glomming on to a makeup trend is one thing, but the real skill is in making it the most flattering for you. That's the idea behind our #BeautyDEFINEDContest on Instagram: We want to see how you translate eye-makeup trends to flatter your goddess-given irises. Every week, we're challenging you to recreate a trend and customize it to be flattering to your eye color for a chance to win $2,000 plus a year's worth of 1-DAY ACUVUE® DEFINE® Brand Contact Lenses — do you need any other incentive to play with makeup? For our first challenge, we asked you to show us your take on the metallic eye, and we were floored by all of your pics — blue eyes paired with rust-colored shadow, green eyes complemented with lilac hues. Well, we want to see more. For round two, we're tasking you with creating a super-versatile, everyday cat-eye. Now, we don't need to see any ol' swipe of black liner — we're looking for something unique, interesting, and, most importantly, complementary to your particular eye color. Here, we added a swipe of copper atop midnight-blue liquid liner. This neutral hue is a subtle game-changer for brown eyes. If you choose carefully, the right shade of eyeliner can make ALL the difference without being overwhelming. Now, are you ready to play? Tag your pics with @ACUVUE and #BeautyDEFINEDContest to enter for a chance to win. Make that flick and pic count — $2,000 is on the line.
