Carine Roitfeld has been bouncing around from pet project to pet project ever since she left her post at Vogue Paris. Her return to her styling roots have been both highly anticipated and pissed on, with many waiting to see her work with Barneys and shaking their head at her strange concept for Chanel's fall 2011 ads. WWD reported this morning that her latest gig will be collaborating with Mario Testino on a 72-page editorial for V Magazine's "Heroes Issue," centered around Elizabeth Taylor. Some of Carine's best work has been done with V (as evident in an upcoming retrospective of her work), so we're confident in saying that this should be one of the more sensical (and happy) match-ups for Carine.
