Remember that scene in Sex and the City when Carrie goes to visit that performance artist in the middle of the night with Mikhail Baryshnikov? Well that artist was Marina Abramovic, whose eponymous new book launches tonight at the pop-up PHAIDON | STORE (one of our fave book-stores) just in time for her first major U.S. career retrospective exhibition, "Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present," opening at MoMA on March 14. The notoriously reclusive artist will sign copies of the tome as you enjoy free wine and nibbles.
