We have a lot to thank our dads for today. They taught us the important things, like how to put siblings in headlocks, the best time of day to ask mom for favors, and how to love golf on TV (well, he tried). But we also picked up a few lessons from other dads, a.k.a. the ones on the screen — especially in regards to home improvement mishaps.
And now that we're adults and change lightbulbs on our own, they're all flooding back. Ahead, a collection of slightly disastrous lessons from our fictional fathers on things to avoid. Number one? Hammering upside down never turns out well.
