Tom Ford is one of the few designers whose beauty lines are just as revered as their clothing. But, his ultra-glamorous touch hasn't always been as well developed; When he was 14, he attempted to use cucumber slices to diminish the "bags" under his teenage eyes—and found himself in the emergency room after his eyes had swelled shut from allergies. Nowadays, Ford no longer relies on homespun techniques, and has plans to supplement his existing line of skincare, fragrances, and lipstick with a full line of color cosmetics and makeup soon. (WWD)
