Reese Witherspoon is channeling Elle Woods in her latest Instagram post. In honor of Football Sunday, the actress uploaded a charming little video in which she repeatedly tries (and fails) to get her hands on a flying pigskin. First person to make a “catches like a girl” comment gets a frosty cooler of nuclear orange Gatorade poured over them.
Fear not, NFL fans. The video has a happy ending — not to mention a dog cameo and a jubilant victory dance. If this were an actual game, we’d be shouting at her to stop celebrating and run like hell, but we’ll let the showboating slide just this once. We assume she’s currently practicing her tackles and snaps. Hey, if she’s really good, maybe she can line up a meeting with Jerry Jones. We hear the Dallas Cowboys could use a starting quarterback. Now there’s a movie just begging to be made.
