Kanye Dropped A Wisdom Bomb On Twitter Last Night & We Are Mesmerized

In recent months, Kanye has adopted a rather economical approach to Twitter. Instead of the wild rantings of yesteryear, these days, he utilizes the platform to share valuable — or, at the very least — relevant information. Take, for example, the scroll of images from his New York Fashion Week collection, along with the lineup for upcoming concert dates. Sprinkle in a few little sweet nothings meant for Kim Kardashian West and little Nori, and you've got yourself a pretty clear picture of what Yeezy is up to these days. Designing. Dropping mics. Dad-ing out. Every so often, though, we get a peek at the old Kanye, the Twitter user who shared philosophical musings à la Jaden Smith (but, you know, more dope). The guy who told the world that "fur pillows are actually really hard to sleep on." The man who bequeathed us the line: "Mosquitos suck." Tuesday night, the musician got real with us once again. He was profound — maybe. Or was he just telling the rest of the world to get its shit together? We don't know: We don't have that kind of deep insight. But, whatever the intention, Kanye really wants you to make the most of the lifetime you have. And actually, as far as celebrity calls to action go, that's a pretty good one.
