Starbucks Just Released Its First New Fall Latte In 4 Years

The PSL has been Starbucks' fall go-to for the past 10 years, but starting today, the coffee chain is switching things up. For the first time in four years, Starbucks is releasing a new fall latte flavor. It's called the Toasted Graham Latte and it's available right now — coincidentally (well, actually not so coincidentally) on the first day of fall. The inspiration for the latte comes from something many of us love — the sweet milk that is left over when you finish a bowl of cereal. But, instead of cereal, the latte tastes like graham crackers. It took Starbucks almost a year of testing to perfect the new latte, which features flavors of graham and sweet cream, combined with steamed milk and espresso. It's finished with a sprinkling of cinnamon graham crumble. We got a chance to try the new latte before it hit stores, and we were really happy with the addition. In fact, it might be our new favorite fall latte (gasp!). The beverage is less sweet than the PSL, so coffee lovers will like that they can still taste the espresso. Starbucks has two additional surprises for customers this morning. First, it's rolling out a limited-edition fall coffee cup that's designed just for autumn with leaves, berries, pumpkins, and pine cones. (And, if you notice that your baristas look a little different today, it's because they're dressed up for the first day of fall.)
