Dunkin’ Donuts Is Launching A New Delivery Service

Imagining never having to leave your apartment — or even walk five feet from your bed — to get the perfect cup of coffee in the morning. Sound like a glorious pipe dream? Well, it's about to become a reality. According to Dunkin' Donuts, the company is planning to start delivering breakfast through its DD Perks app beginning sometime early next year. While there's no word yet on which market will be the lucky testing ground for this magic, we're sure that a nationwide rollout won't be far behind. (Although, as die-hard Dunkin' coffee lovers, we've got our fingers crossed that it'll be New York.) Meanwhile, if having delicious treats delivered to your doorstep isn't really your thing, you'll also have the option of ordering your food and drinks for in-store pickup, which should seriously cut down on wait times. Delish reports that the delivery portion of thing will be carried out by a third party, much like Chipotle's partnership with Tapingo or Starbucks' on-demand service with Postmates. Frankly, as long as coffee and doughnuts show up at our door, we don't care who does the heavy lifting.
