Kristen Stewart Wants You To Know That She Does Smile

Kristen Stewart would like you to know that in spite of her moody reputation, she has been known to crack a smile. The Twilight star, who will probably be called the Twilight star even if she ever wins an Oscar (she has won the French equivalent, which somehow sounds even cooler) has an interview in the September issue of the UK edition of Elle. In it, she explains, "The whole smiling thing is weird because I actually smile a lot. I literally want to be like, 'Dude, you would think I was cool if you got to know me.'" She's mostly smile free, however, in the glamorous photo spread that accompanies the story. Stewart had the chat for the magazine piece with Juliette Lewis, a friend and fellow actress. Beyond talk of Kristen's often (but not always) absent grin, they also touched on the women Stewart looks up to, including Patti Smith. Stewart's next movie, American Ultra, is coming out on August 21. She also has a sci-fi love story titled Equals coming out later this year.
