JK Rowling Twitter Defense Serena Williams Wimbledon

Serena Williams just won her sixth Wimbledon title, and JK Rowling took to Twitter to fangirl her excitement over the win and Williams' all-around greatness.

But apparently, some folks are more interested in critiquing Willams' figure than her incredible athletic prowess. How charming. In response to Rowling's celebratory tweet, Twitter user @diegtristan8 responded:

Now, as if anyone needs a reminder: don't mess with JK Rowling. Especially if you're trying to go toe-to toe in 140 characters. Rowling deftly smacked down the hateful tweet, as she is often wont to do.
