Bobbi Kristina Brown died today at 22, after spending nearly six months in a medically-induced coma.

Brown's tragic passing comes three years after the death of her mother, Whitney Houston, and it is difficult to disassociate the circumstances that lead to Brown's death from those of Houston. On February 11, 2012, the Grammy-winning singer was found unresponsive in a bathtub. She was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

Brown and Houston shared an undeniably close relationship. Houston was never shy about expressing her love for her only daughter, who was born in 1993. She frequently brought her onstage during award shows and performances. In 2009, Brown joined her mother in a rendition of “My Love is Your Love” on Good Morning America.

Their relationship was a beautiful testament to the love shared by parent and child. As the world grieves Brown's passing, we want to take a moment to celebrate their everlasting bond.

Read on for touching images of mother and daughter, with quotes from Houston on their incomparable love.
