Even a tough Cookie can start to crumble.
Taraji P. Henson, who plays the badass Cookie Lyon on Fox's breakout hit Empire, has been hospitalized for exhaustion, her spokeswoman confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter.
Friday, the actress shared a closeup shot of an IV in her arm, laying in what clearly looks to be a hospital bed. Despite the not-so-great circumstances, Taraji managed to crack a joke while letting her fans know that this is just God's way of getting her to slow down a little.
"I'm listening Father!!! I am taking several seats!!! Don't worry y'all I'm a tough cookie! HA! I will be just fine. My momma and best friends are flying in to check on me. I AM FINE!!!!!!! Just need to SAT ALL THE WAY DOWN for a bit. #listentoyourbody ????"
