Zoe Saldana Reveals She Changed Her Name, Too

People have been making such a fuss over the fact that Zoe Saldana's husband, the dreamy Italian artist formerly known as Marco Perego, took her last name that nobody's bothered to notice that the actress returned the favor. Yep, she is now Zoe Saldana-Perego, while hubs is Marco Perego-Saldana. The Infinitely Polar Bear star revealed her name change on last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live! The mother of twins was quick to clarify that she didn't have to force her husband to add her name. "Why does it mean a woman has to like hold a gun, like, 'You're gonna be Saldana!'" she quipped. "I took his. Why doesn't that make it in the news? We hyphened." The couple's twin boys, meanwhile, are Cy and Bowie Perego-Saldana. Saldana joked that she "was a gentleman" and let her husband's name go first. The family's progressive attitude expands beyond their names. Saldana shared a story about how the new parents have enlisted the help of vodka to ease themselves through training their twins to sleep through the night.
