Solange Knowles’ Business Partner Attacked in New Orleans

REX USA
This is truly horrifying. Armina Mussa, Solange Knowles' business partner and friend, is in critical condition after she was stabbed 10 times  in New Orleans on Wednesday, reports USA Today. While Solange wasn't present during the incident, the singer cancelled her DJ set at Coachella and quickly boarded a flight to New Orleans to be at her friend's side the second she heard the tragic news. Mussa is the project director for Solange's artistic and creative Saint Heron brand and also co-owns a boutique, Exodus Goods, in the French Quarter, The Times-Picayune reports. According to The Times-Picayune, a woman named Arronesia Christophe allegedly stabbed Armina after a disagreement, and was booked on attempted second-degree murder charges.  Christophe told police she was acting in self-defense after Armina wouldn't stop yelling at her to leave a friends home and then reportedly began punching her. After being pulled to the ground, records filed at the Orleans Parish Criminal District Court, state that was when Arronesia began wielding the knife. Christophe was initially booked on charges of aggravated battery, however The Times-Picayune reports she was rebooked on a charge of attempted second-degree murder.
