For years, The Office was such a dominant presence in our
pop culture lives that yesterday, when we learned it was the 10th
anniversary of the U.S. pilot's premiere,it almost didn't seem right. Hadn't the beloved show been around for even longer than a decade? (Not that we want to age Steve
Carell, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and company prematurely.)
To mark the
occasion, several of the cast members — along with legions of their fans — took
to Twitter and Instagram to share sweet messages to each other, along with
some fun behind-the-scenes photos we'd never seen before. On this day after their 10-year anniversary, we thought we'd gather some of their best.
His onscreen wife, Jenna Fischer, shared the kind of memory
we can all related to:
Amazingly, Baumgartner did that while also celebrating
something a tiny bit bigger in his life: the birth of his daughter, Brylee.
Rainn Wilson couldn't seem
to believe the anniversary was here already:
The best bit of nostalgia, however, came from Angela Kinsey (Angela), who
took over Yahoo! TV's Instagram to share her own collection of BTS pics.
Yes, this is a "Dundie Selfie"! It's hard to believe that 10 years ago #theoffice premiered on Nbc! What an awesome amazing journey. Thank you to all the fans for supporting us all along the way! In honor of #theoffice 10 year anniversary, I'll be taking over @yahootv with some photos I gathered from set over the years. Xoxo, Angela
Last photo I’ll share today… This photo is from "Work Bus" directed by Bryan Cranston. We parked by a park and all clumped together under some shade between scenes and this photo happened. I love these people! And thank you #theOffice fans. You are the best and none of this would have happened without you all! Happy 10th anniversary! - @angelakinsey
