HBO is tormenting us with these little tastes of Game of Thrones' fifth season. They’ve
dropped a couple of new photos for us to gawk at, in addition with two short
videos featuring some of the major players. Like, seriously short — each are less than 40 seconds. Then again, at least these new clips aren't in Raven Vision.
The first is an
exchange between Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and Varys (Conleth Hill) the Spider.
They’re having a heart-to-heart about why Varys did that thing at the
end of the last season, and it seems that the Spider is quite wisely
throwing his lot in with Tyron.
The second video depicts Jon Snow (Kit Harington) showing off
just how much he knows in a little chat with Mance Rayder (Ciarán Hinds), the former
Night’s Watch guard turned King-Beyond-the-Wall. Can Snow convince Mance to come
from, well, beyond the Wall and work with Stannis Baratheon for the greater
good?
What is the greater good in Game of Thrones anyway? It’s hard to
keep track! Oh, look — dragons!
Game of Thrones premieres Sunday, April 12 at
9 p.m. on HBO.
