Sia Furler, the true elusive chanteuse, has revealed her face.
Furler has been concealing her face for the better part of a year. She's hid behind massive wigs, paper bags, and even refused to face the audience during performances. Sia cited social anxiety as a reason for hiding her visage. She's also waxed poetic on how the stresses of fame have amplified her desire for a private life. "I don’t want to be famous, or recognizable," Furler said during a Nightline interview. "I don’t want to be critiqued about the way that I look on the Internet."
Of course, there's a face underneath all the gimmicks. We've seen it before. So, tonight's mask-free appearance isn't new per se. It's just a bit surprising. But, she looks happy and ready to party. All the dancing and socializing at Elton John's 23rd Annual AIDS Foundation screening party is better done sans ginormous wigs, after all. (Marie Claire)
