Lea Michele has been living it up in the New Year in Cabo San Lucas with her boyfriend, Matthew Paetz, and showing off some skin while she does it. Since January 1, the Glee star has posted at least six bikini pics to her Instagram in what we can only assume is an effort to get the rest of us to keep up our resolutions to do more lunges for at least a week.
The actress has always been the polar opposite of her sweater-set loving character in the modesty department. She famously went topless on Broadway in Spring Awakening, pre-Glee. However, this latest series of banging-hot pics screams out of bigger plans. With the final season of her career-making show premiering this Friday (January 9), it's more important than ever for Lea to show how very not-Rachel she is off screen, particularly if she wants to keep that music career humming along.

Not that she's saying goodbye to her devoted Gleeks just yet. From what we know so far of the upcoming season, Lea's singing her on-screen mom's "Let It Go," Alanis Morissette's "Uninvited," and "Suddenly Seymour" from Little Shop of Horrors (with Darren Criss' Blaine). Now which of those might be sung better in a thong?
