Is This The "Happy" Of 2015?

The last time Pharrell Williams wrote a song for an animated film, everyone basically lost their shit. Eventually you had to take a sewing needle to your ear drums and never turn on the radio again, but yeah, it's safe to say that "Happy" was pretty successful.
Was that just lightning in a bottle, or has Williams done it again? The hip-hop hero has reunited with N.E.R.D. cohorts Chad Hugo and Shay Haley to create yet another catchy, kid-friendly tune for The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. It's called "Squeeze Me," and you may be hearing it non-stop over the next several months. You never forget your first, though, so here goes.
Once you get past your disappointment about one of your favorite hip-hop/funk rock acts resorting to kiddie soundtracks, you have to admit the track's got something to it. Lots of brass, kids singing along, Pharrell laying down the beat...not bad. Dare we say we kinda dig it — at least until we start hearing Muzak versions at Whole Foods.
