Together, these five words have defined Girls — HBO's ode to figuring it out. For three seasons, we've watched Hannah and Co. bounce around from apartment to apartment, job to job, and boyfriend to boyfriend, without making any real forward progress. They exist in a real life game of Pong, with borders made up of brownstones and coffee shops.
Will they finally break free of their holding patterns in the show's upcoming fourth season? Judging by the first official promo poster, it seems like they've definitely got their eyes on the prize. Hannah, Marnie, Shoshanna, and Jessa are all gazing up into the distance. But, what are they looking at? Maturity? Stability? Adam Driver?
We'll find out in just over a month, when the fourth season of Girls premieres January 11 on HBO.
