Lauren Graham is joining the cast of the CBS sitcom The Odd Couple, where she'll play the ex-wife of Matthew Perry's character. If you have a master's degree in Lauren Graham's love life, you'll recall that the Gilmore Girls actress and the Friends actor dated briefly after meeting in 2002. Clearly, there's no ill will between the pair, as they've starred opposite each other multiple times since — in both Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and on the now defunct NBC sitcom Go On.
While Graham has found post-Gilmore Girls success with Parenthood, Perry is still looking for his first real hit since Friends. The Odd Couple is based on the classic Neil Simon movie about mismatched roommates, Oscar Madison (now played by Perry) and Felix Unger (Thomas Lennon), and will debut midseason on CBS.
