As we're coming to the end of September, we're also coming to the end of this column,
This Is Our Jam, our midweek mix of our favorite recent tracks. It's been a blast, and we're definitely going to rock out even harder to these six tracks this week.

We're kicking this week's roundup off with an electropop premiere from Cheerleader, a rootsy indie-rock premiere from Austin Basham, and a trip-hop treat from TOTEMO. We're ending things with an amazing visual-dance experience from Leikeli47, a soulful song from Paolo Nutini, and a rock gem from badass singer Meg Myers.

Cheerleader

"Tomorrow Always Knows"

Hazy dream-poppers Cheerleaders are onto something with "Tomorrow Always Knows." We're excited to premiere this jam because it channels sunshine and the '80s all at once — something we totally dig. Their forthcoming EP, On Your Side (due October 7), is definitely one to watch.

Austin Basham

"Running"

Austin Basham's voice is pure magic, and we're thrilled to premiere the first single from his upcoming EP, Hollow Head/Hollow Heart. The indie-folk singer's track "Running" is a beautifully calming piece of music that describes the indecisiveness that comes with personal relationships — something we've all related to at some point. We can't help but think about how his voice reminds us of Alexi Murdoch and Bob Dylan, and that's enough to get us hooked.

TOTEMO

"Host"

TOTEMO's "Host" is both creepy and sexy at the same time, and without sounding like total weirdos, we kind of love it. The Israeli vocalist parallels the sounds of Massive Attack, iamamiwhoami, and Portishead, flashing her talent for sultry trip-hop around. Her debut EP, Heavy As My Dreams, comes out November 3, and it's one we're definitely stoked to hear.

Leikeli47

"Two Times a Charm"

We're seriously digging this catchy, danceable track from Leikeli47, which you may have caught during the Cushnie Et Ochs' SS15 NYFW show recently. The music video for "Two Times a Charm" showcases 47 and her pals in ski masks coordinating dance moves. We've heard that Diplo and Skrillex are supporters, so we're sold.

Paolo Nutini

"Let Me Down Easy"

Soulful Scottish singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini is back with his third record, Caustic Love, and it definitely doesn't disappoint. One of the highlights is "Let Me Down Easy," which has a vintage feel and features a very tasteful sample of Bettye LaVette's song of the same name. With his latest record, you can definitely tell he's upping his seductiveness to Marvin Gaye's level.

Meg Myers

"Go"

It's kind of like a religious experience watching Meg Myers rock out. In the music video for "Go" (shot in all black and white), you can hear influences from The Breeders, Fiona Apple, and Nine Inch Nails. It's pretty much our version of a perfect angry-girl rock anthem.
