Taking a break from her wacky airline ensembles, Gaga exuded Old-Hollywood-by-way-of-Madonna's-"Vogue"-video glamour in a custom black and white design by Alexandre Vauthier Couture. There was side boob, there was an Angelina-style slit, and there was Kinney, looking seriously heartthrob-y in a classic suit. Just perfection.
The couple were dolled up to toast the Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates ICONS by Carine Roitfeld event on Friday. Gaga was recently branded one by Roitfeld (as if she wasn't already iconic enough). Her actor beau, meanwhile, was on hand to show his support and generally help the event reach its ruggedly handsome quota. Job done.
You've got to give Gaga credit. Girl can break every fashion rule on the planet, but when she needs to step it up, she steps it up. Maybe this is her version of normcore?
