Well, it happened. Beyoncé arrived and Beyoncé slayed. She slayed so hard, in fact, that the VMAs are now called the BeyMAs.

But, why wasn't Beyoncé on the red carpet? Where has she been all evening? Well, dear reader, Yoncé was on the red carpet but she can't be bothered with any pre-show coverage. She just doesn't have time for that. And, actual award shows? Pfft. Even she out-Rihanna'd Rihanna in terms of not giving-a-what.

Thankfully, Beyoncé had time to perform her entire visual album in 15 minutes. 15 whole minutes of the Queen. "MTV, welcome to my world," she uttered. Then remixes upon remixes spilled out of thin air — all while Beyoncé was dressed as a stained glass window, a literal window to the divine.

MTV, welcome to my world? More like: world, welcome to Beyoncé's world. In case you didn't know we were living in it already.
