Summer might be on its way out, but we want to squeeze in as many sunny jams as possible before it happens. We're back with This Is Our Jam, a midweek mix of our favorite recent tracks. We’re kicking off our playlist with a premiere of a lyric video for an addictive new Generationals song, another indie-pop video premiere from Tiny Stills, and a seductive gem from Wet remixed by TÂCHES. We’re following those tracks up with some gorgeous songwriting from Bahamas and ending the week with song from Golden Coast that will satisfy the musical palettes of both electronic and indie-pop fans alike.

Generationals

“Black Lemon"

Get out your short-shorts, bikini tops, and Hawaiian shirts before Labor Day because Generationals are trying to make you feel like you’re getting down on an island. We're stoked to premiere this vintage, retro-looking lyric video that features the track "Black Lemon" — an upbeat, catchy gem that will stay with you all day long. We're guessing their fourth record, Alix (due September 16), will be just as enticing.

Tiny Stills

“Starting Over"

If you've been missing Rilo Kiley since the band went their separate ways, you're in luck: Tiny Stills might just fill that void with their own unique version of catchy indie-rock music. The band has the emotional songwriting down, and when mixed with indie-rock, it’s pretty damn enjoyable. Also, who doesn't want to play with a band in the back of a U-Haul?

Wet

“Move Me" (TÂCHES Remix)

We were pretty stoked to hear Wet had a new song out, and we were even more excited when we got this remix in our hands. Wet's ability to mix sexy lyrics with sultry R&B beats is perfection when combined with chillwave, danceable sounds, courtesy of TÂCHES. This is one summer jam we'll be rocking out to until the leaves start to fall.

Bahamas

“Stronger Than That"

There's something so gorgeous about Bahamas' track, "Stronger Than That." Singer-songwriter Afie Jurvanen gets a little bit funky and strips down his songs to something reminiscent of Jack Johnson. It's obvious that Bahamas has a penchant for great storytelling. And, as a result, Jurvanen's latest record Bahamas Is Afie has been on repeat.

Golden Coast

"Dream and an MPC"

Looking for the perfect song for those last bright, sunny days before summer comes to an end? Golden Coast just delivered with quite the electronic, dancey jam that we're obsessed with — honestly, this song just sounds like fireworks to us. We think this one will make EDM and indie-pop fans pretty happy.
