Back in 2008, Kanye West fans were teased with the idea of a Hype Williams-directed video for "Robocop" from Yeezy's very own 808s & Heartbreak.
That video never saw the light of day — until now.
A 13-second clip has surfaced, courtesy of Shihan Barbee, a CG modeler who some blogs have alleged was involved in the project way back when. (He has since refuted this.) The short video features Kanye doing some stop-motion dance moves with a Barbie version of Amber Rose.
You may now go ahead and feign surprise at the idea of Kanye's then-girlfriend literally being objectified as a big-breasted plaything.
The stop-motion's a nice touch, but it's no Jan Švenkmajer. (Imagine a video involving Kanye chowing down on his own manhood!) But, hey, we can't have everything. (Rolling Stone)
