Las Vegas has earned its reputation as a gambling destination. But, Mindy Kaling's vacation to Sin City reminds us that it's also a major foodie destination. For her 35th birthday, Kaling took the writing staff of The Mindy Project to Vegas for a little getaway. And, they proceeded to eat all of the interesting foods. The crew went to Gordon Ramsay Steak at the Paris Hotel and Casino for dinner, where they enjoyed what writer Loulie Lang called a "steak trolley," but what was essentially a ferris wheel of meat. Then, the birthday girl blew out candles on a Parisian-themed cake, complete with Eiffel Tower topping. Perhaps most exciting, though, was Tuesday morning's trip to the Grand Canyon. And, by Grand Canyon, we of course mean the bottom of the gorge where Kaling and Co. had a picnic. Ahead, snaps from Kaling's epic food-fest birthday celebration. (People)
