In 1991, there were only two women members of the U.S. Senate. Alarming, yes, but when it comes to restroom privileges, we'll allow that these two women were expected to share one. Understandable. However, in 2000, the number of women members increased to nine. Those nine women were still sharing that same bathroom. We get it — we've had living situations like that, too — and besides, there are definitely far more important issues for senators to deal with. But, now that there are 20 women in the U.S. Senate, the most ever in history, a deserved bathroom expansion is about to go down.
Between our own roommate situations, dorm spaces, big companies, and large families, we know a thing or two about sharing a ladies room. Here are a few recommendations that will help keep the peace and maintain the order.
