Seth Rogen May Be The Best Son-In-Law, Ever

The above video clip may look like a Saturday Night Live skit, but it's not. It's just Seth Rogen being quite possibly the world's most awesome son-in-law (who knew?) by testifying before a U.S. Senate subcommittee about Alzheimer's research. It turns out that his mother-in-law has the disease, and the Canadian comedian is fighting to make sure money is appropriated to fund medical research on her behalf. Pass the hanky.
Appearing on C-SPAN in a suit and tie, Rogen recounted his mother-in-law's struggles. "After forgetting who she and her loved ones were," he testified, "She forgot how to speak, feed herself, dress herself, all by the age of 60." He and his wife, Lauren, have helped raise money for Alzheimer's patients and their families through Hilarity for Charity.

The testimony wasn't without a comic moment, of course. "I came here today for a few reasons. One, I'm a huge House of Cards fan..." he quipped. "Two, people need more help. I've personally witnessed the massive amount of financial strain this disease causes.... Three, to show people they are not alone, so few people share their personal stories." He also joked that he was insulted that the committee chairman has never seen Knocked Up.
Jokes aside, we're pretty impressed with Rogen right now. Looks like Lauren (and her mom) found a good one.
