It's almost the Oscars, which means we're abuzz with predictions of what our favorite celebrities will wear on the red carpet — and we're not just talking dresses. The Academy Awards are practically the hair and makeup olympics. And, as Into The Gloss points out, the ladies of Hollywood aren't the only ones working overtime to get outfitted for Sunday; leading men are expected to deliver some serious look, too. So, ITG got in touch with the hairstylist behind He Of The Impossibly Shiny Locks (a.k.a. Jared Leto) to get the lowdown on what we're all dying to know: If Leto's hair looks this good on the regular, how will the guy outdo himself for Hollywood's biggest night?

Leto's mane man does not disappoint. Chase Kusero (ITG refers to him as an "ombré expert," because have you seen Jared's highlights?!), is rife with ideas for Leto's look — but don't expect a big chop. “[Jared and I] were going to shock everybody and show up for the Academy Awards with a haircut, but it’s looking so good that we don’t really want to cut it," he said. Hey, if it ain't broke don't fix it, right?
Kusero explains that, rather than cutting Leto's hair, he's hoping for some kind of updo. "When I see him, we’ll play with his hair for some photos — maybe a high bun, maybe half up, half down — and then go from there. That’s how we got to the pony-bun for the Globes." So, be prepared for man-bun envy. Kusero says that he'd also love to try a side part on the star. And, as far as texture is concerned, he's loving the Beyoncé-at-the-Grammys wet look. Jared may not be stealing the diva's cute crop, but he could just be the next star to make wet hair look seriously smoldering. And, to that we say: May the force of Bey be with you.
