Miley Cyrus Bares All For German Vogue, No One Is Surprised

If Anna Wintour subscribes to the German edition of Vogue, she might not like what she sees. It's none other than, yes — Miley Cryus. The salacious pop star is featured on three separate covers of the German fashion bible, all more cheeky than the next.
If you recall, Wintour famously nixed 21-year-old Cyrus' cover shoot for the U.S. edition of Vogue after the singer's controversial performance at the VMAs. According to sources at the time, the notoriously icy editrix was interested in making Cyrus the next big fashion icon, but found her twerk-heavy performance distasteful. No surprise there.
So, how might Wintour feel about the recent move by her German counterparts? Our guess is, she won't mind much at all. Although Cyrus does appear topless on one cover and in lingerie on another, the photos are done rather tastefully. They were also shot by Mario Testino, one of the fashion world's most well-respected photographers (and a longtime collaborator of Wintour's). Also, with Miley's high profile appearance in the new Marc Jacobs campaign and her recent covers for Love and W, it looks like the rest of the high-fashion world has embraced her. Could Wintour be next? (Vogue Germany)
