Peter Pilotto For Target’s TV Spot Is All Disco, Dancing, & Dizzying Prints

Here's a really brief list of things we enjoy: disco, dancing, dizzying prints, and Dunn — as in, Jourdan Dunn. So, it stands to reason that we are super into Target's first TV commercial for its upcoming Peter Pilotto collaboration. The 30-second spot, which also features Jessica Stam, Yumi Lambert, and Daniela Braga, shows the models twirling, shimmying, and snapping to Sylvester's 1978 disco classic “You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" — and Stam can't quite find the beat, despite the track's thumpingly four-on-the-floor rhythm.
But, of course, we're here for the clothes, not the awkward model dancing. And, this ad has us more hyped up for the designer collaboration than ever. Graphic stripes, digital florals, structured bustiers, and adorably short, asymmetric party dresses feature heavily here. And, the pieces look even better in motion than they did in last month's lookbook. Silhouettes, colors, and prints this cheery and youthful were meant to move, after all.
