NSFW: Miley Cyrus Looks Like A Nude Lady Gaga In W

For Miley Cyrus' next headline, the pop provocateur will let her nip slip. There will be wet hair, no underwear, and no eyebrows. Cyrus will pout and seductively gaze into the refined lens of Mert and Marcus, and she'll look damn good doing it.
Though the comparisons to Lady Gaga are inevitable, Cyrus' take on the whole platinum-wet-haired-cyborg look is spot-on. The nudity of W's latest cover shoot isn't as off-putting as, say, that Terry Richardson shoot, which felt gratuitous rather than glamorous. And, for an interview with Ronan Farrow (yes, that Ronan Farrow), why wouldn't they be?
Farrow's interview with Cyrus for W's March social-media-themed issue is blunt and presents a non-objective portrait of the zeitgeist figurehead. The pairing is unconventional, but through Farrow's political forte and academic approach to reporting, Cyrus' "not a girl, not yet a woman" phase is unbiasedly displayed. She compares herself to Joan Jett, casually dismisses Disney, and, according to Farrow, doesn't stop talking. He then provides the most succinct description of his interviewee ever penned: "Cyrus speaks in the language of her generation: She is a human text message," Farrow writes. Amen, Farrow. Amen.
Head on over to W for the full interview, or pick up a copy for yourself when it hits stands February 12. (W)
