Use This Cocktail Chart Of America To Take The Best Road Trip Ever

It looks like we officially have a new item on our bucket list. The folks over at BuzzFeed have used their unique brand of sorcery to assign a signature cocktail to all 50 states. Variables like the libation's state of origin, popularity, and exclusivity were all taken into consideration to build the chart, which we now plan on using to map out the booziest road trip ever.
We'd start with New York's Moscow Mule, a refreshing elixir made with vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer. From there, we'd make our way south, hitting all the states on the way to Louisiana. There, we'd imbibe New Orleans' official cocktail, The Sazerac, a unique blend of rye whiskey, Peychaud’s bitters, sugar, and absinthe. En route to California, we'd suck back New Mexico's La Paloma, Arizona's High and Dry, and Colorado's The Snowball, among others.
Once in the Golden State, we'd throw back some Mai Tais by the beach, before making the long trek up to Alaska for the ultimate Smoked Salmon Bloody Mary. Sure, drinking all 50 cocktails in their home states is a daunting task, but thankfully, we have the youthful enthusiasm and blind optimism required to make it happen. Now all we need is the time off. (BuzzFeed)
