Following 2013's highly public, turbulent series of events, the 27-year-old actress is currently keeping under-the-radar while she's in recovery mode. After expressing interest in a rap career months ago, it appears Bynes is now veering more towards the idea of a career in fashion. (Perhaps revisiting her roots? She did have a short-lived budget line seven years ago.)
Now enrolled at Los Angeles' Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Bynes is taking part-time classes in merchandise product development this semester. A source told E! News: "She was very nice, friendly, and chatting with her classmates." Rumor had it that Bynes originally intended to major in fashion design, but took a turn towards the business side of fashion. (A practical move, honestly.)
Since her release from treatment in December, Bynes has apparently been spending a lot of time with her family and friends — and even managed a trip to Disneyland. Wherever her studies take her, we wish Bynes well and hope she'll consider returning to the big screen someday. After all, her MTV Movie Award-nominated turn as Marianne in Easy A was pretty damn flawless. (E!)
