So, it seems that the pretty little liars from ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars aren't, um, that pretty.
Don't get us wrong — Lucy Hale, Ashley Benson, Troian Bellisario, and Shay Mitchell are undeniably gorgeous. But, a just-released ad promoting the show's new season has been blasted for being "ridiculous" and "not attractive" by none other than one of PLL's leading ladies. Apparently displeased with the poster, which features the four actresses in blood-red dresses, Benson took to Twitter to air her complaints.
“Saw this floating around," the Spring Breakers star tweeted. "Hope it’s not the poster. Our faces in this were from 4 years ago…..and we all look ridiculous. Way too much photo shop [sic]. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It’s not attractive.”
Wow. While beauties like Doutzen Kroes have spoken out against airbrushing, it's rare to hear a celebrity being so vocal about being over-edited. Props to Benson for crying foul. Back to you, ABC Family marketing department. (Just Jared, Jr.)
