Whoa — The Facebook “Like” Button Gets A Major Redesign

We’re normally pretty chill when it comes to change around these parts — a go-with-the-flow attitude is a must when you live in an always-innovating tech hub. But, when we got wind from Digital Spy that Facebook is switching up its iconic “like” symbol for the very first time, we assumed that would take some getting used to...and we were right. Turns out, we were wasting our time brainstorming what the new look would entail because, in reality, it’s nothing we would have imagined.
First off, the emblem is no longer in the shape of an upward thumb. We’ll give you a moment to take that in. Instead, when you show your fondness for a cat meme on your feed, an “F” character will appear in the form of its logo. Tell us, do you think this spankin’-new icon is "F"-ing weird, or do you give it a thumbs up? Have at it in the comments below! (Digital Spy)
