Here’s Proof That Halloween Decorations Are All The Rage

It's that time of year again. Except, you probably already knew that, given the fact that Halloween candy has been taunting you on those store shelves for months. So, if you haven't picked out your costume yet, it's time get crackin'. Halloween cheer is spreading across the country, and pretty soon the only thing left will be those sexy pumpkin outfits.
Porch.com just released new stats on how Americans are celebrating come the 31st. Turns out, in addition to dressing up, we're pretty big on haunted houses. The U.S. is home to 4,500+ haunted houses, and over 20% of the population will visit these spooky abodes during this period.
Another way Americans get in the creepy mood is by going ham on decorations. Sure, it may not seem that way in crowded cities where there's little porch space, but across the country, All Hallows Eve is sweeping the neighborhoods. Almost 75,000,000 people will bust out the skeletons, spider webs, and scarecrows for the big night, which means that if you don't have so much as a decorative gourd on hand, you're definitely the scrooge of the holiday.
