While reports of Terry Richardson's alleged misbehavior on photo shoots continue to infiltrate the media, one frustrated woman is taking action, urging major companies and magazines like H&M and Vogue to stop hiring the photographer altogether. Only days ago, Alice Ehrenfried of Southampton started the Change.org petition called,"Vogue, H&M, Mango, Supreme, & all other brands: Stop using alleged sex offender Terry Richardson as your photographer." Thus far, it already has over 5,000 signatures. It's aiming for 50,000.
What's not clear is what will transpire when, and if, that target is hit. Despite the fact that models like Coco Rocha refuse to work with Richardson, the photographer's workload hasn't let up; Madonna and Lena Dunham both shot with him recently. He was also behind the camera for Miley Cyrus's "Wrecking Ball" video.

To be fair, some fashion authorities are speaking out, if only to confirm that Richardson probably won't be heading to Boca to retire any time soon. On HuffPost Live, Elizabeth Paton, a fashion and luxury correspondent for the Financial Times, remarked, "The reality is, until editors stop using him for covers, until Hollywood stars stop picking him as a photographer or a videographer for their shoots, he'll stay the way [he is]."
We reached out to Richardson's team for comment on the petition, but we haven't received a response yet. Back in 2010, Richardson denied earlier allegations of misconduct with subjects in a statement to press. "I just want to take a moment to say I’m really hurt by the recent and false allegations of insensitivity and misconduct," he stated. "I feel fortunate to work with so many extraordinary people each and every day. I’ve always been considerate and respectful of the people I photograph, and I view what I do as a real collaboration between myself and the people in front of the camera."
