Without a runway show to prepare for this fashion season, Canadian designer Kaelen Haworth channeled her creative efforts into a playful side project that's already gaining exposure. Her eponymous brand just released several graphic tees with lighthearted slogans printed across the chest, and the cheeky results are sure to cause a stir. The pink T-shirts advertise such phrases as "I'm Famous on BFA" and "FNO #NeverForget" (FYI, BFA = Billy Farrell Agency, event photographers; and FNO = Fashion's Night Out).
Haworth told us, "The T-shirts started out as a joke. I made a few for friends to wear, and people really responded to them, especially the 'I'm Famous on BFA' shirt. [CR Fashion Book editor] Ray Seigel and I were joking about that very phenomenon and she asked me to make her one, which is how that slogan came about." We love to see a designer who doesn't take the industry, or herself, too seriously, and we can totally see these tees sneaking their way into our off-duty getups this fashion week.
