It's been quite some time since we last laid eyes on Acne's spring '13 collection — although the sleek and elegant pieces have not slipped our mind. So, thankfully, while we teeter between spring and fall Fashion Months, and resort, couture, and men's collections that successfully distract us from the longing for another major RTW collection at the big tents, the Swedish brand has just released a video to hold us over until the next Fashion Week kicks off in September. This just-over-two-minute video takes a glimpse at the behind-the-scenes chaos, and shows us that Jonny Johansson's spring '13 collection was just as amazing backstage as it was on the runway.
In the Trevor Undi-directed video, models such as Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne are seen in all forms of preparation, from being pampered by hair and makeup artists, to being dressed in Acne's edgy and slightly twisted pieces. This fun-yet-intense (Warning: Strobe lights ahead) video captures the collection of flouncy parachute skirts, graphic leathers, and edgy buckled vests that we still find landing on our lust lists.
