So, we've all been waiting on tenterhooks since we first heard word of the Isabel Marant for H&M collection — but we never thought we'd get a sneak peek so soon! H&M Tweeted a first photo of the collection this morning, modeled by Madame Marant herself. And if you don't mind our saying so, it looks like things are coming along quite nicely.
While she's had an extra dose of fame lately for her ubiquitous wedge sneakers, this is a reminder that what Isabel Marant does best is to define what's cool before we even know it, and weave together nostalgia and novelty in a way that's comfortable, sexy, and unforgettable. That all sounds pretty applicable to this kaleidoscopic-print dress! If we were excited before, then, we don't even know how to describe our emotions right now. Panic? Painful anticipation? Whatever it is, it hurts so good.
