Honestly, Hailee Steinfeld's choice to wear a navy Valentino lace onesie could have quickly backfired on her.
Luckily, it seems the Romeo & Juliet star learned a lesson or two from KStew's cheeky Zuhair Murad jumpsuit moment and showed us exactly how to pull the lace look off at the CinemaCon red carpet this past Thursday: it's all about the accessories. Steinfeld left the bling at home and opted to accent the gold flowers on the jumpsuit with gold Brian Atwood pumps and a matchy-matchy (in a good way) gold Jimmy Choo clutch instead. It's her nails that give this look its sartorial crown, though. She matched the metallic patent leather of her shoes with a metallic Au-hued (that's gold, for you non-science buffs) manicure. Lesson learned.
