Could SJP be missing her Carrie days? She certainly got to wear a lot of wild stuff back then — not that her real-life wardrobe is boring, or anything, but it leans more toward boyfriend jeans and blazers than tutus and Manolos. But for whatever reason, she seemed to be longing for the old days at a benefit luncheon for the New York City Ballet yesterday.
Of course, if it were us, the first thing we'd do to get back in touch with Carrie Bradshaw's wild spirit would be to get a major perm. But, a bright blue alpaca coat works, too. We can't help but think Cookie Monster, but we're not prepared to suggest that's a bad thing. She seems confident and comfortable, and the rest of the outfit shows off a slammin' bod, so maybe there's potential here? What do you think? Can Fifth Avenue and Sesame Street ever be friends?
